We are non-governmental, non-religious and work with many local NGOs and community based organizations to implement our programs. Position Overview:

This position is an integral part of our International Accounting team. The part-time Accounting/Admin Analyst is responsible for three key roles: process incoming donation, handle all payable processes and support the monthly / quarterly / year-end close processes for our Hong Kong and Singapore offices. This position is a part time role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

A Monitor bank accounts online. Recognize debits and credits in accounts in Hong Kong and Singapore.

A Daily processing of credit card donations.

A Weekly reconciliation of all donations, wires, checks, cash, etc. and delivery to Accountant for banking.

A Keep log for external Accountant up to date and send weekly so he can reconcile the donations and prepare receipts.

A Weekly, send receipts and thank you notes to donors.

A Work with auditors on annual audit.

A Provide information to Global Office team for consolidated US audit (12/31 fiscal year end)

A Month-end accounting close:

A Download and save e-bank statements

A Make sure we have captured all donations in RE and that all gift coding is correct.

A Ensure data integrity of all donations in the RaiserA s Edge

A Process and record all transactions related to Accounts Receivables and Payables, including contributed support, trek payments, Gifts In Kind (GINKI), grants and pledges in Epicor

A Maintain complete and accurate vendor files

A Reconcile Epicor, bank statement and RE batch. Once reconciled A commitA batch in RE and A postA accounting entries in Epicor.

A Send external Accountant log and bank statements.

A Download the online credit card entries from IATS for the month. Reconcile IATS report with the entries in the RE batch and bank statement.

A Provide revenue reports and run queries on RazorA s Edge, as needed for the Global Office.

A Run and save all required monthly accounting reports.

A Book gift-in-kind donations (currently only office space) in RE and Epicor.

A Review and reconcile Epicor accounts.

A Coordinate and communicate information with Global Office (San Francisco) Finance & Accounting team every month.

A Same for Singapore donations and accounts (except no banking of checks as that is handled in Singapore).

A Administration

A Responsible for all mailings to donors.

A Data entry on Raisers Edge (how heard, appeals, tributes, spouse, kids etc).

A Data entry in GSD to allocate projects, status, dedication language, etc.

A Monitor Info@roomtoread.org and asia.pacific@roomtoread.org. and respond to emails.

A Assist donors with site visit requests.

A Assist with reviewing and sending donor reports.

A Maintain HK chapter email distribution list.

A Field chapter queries - very wide ranging and when we have events emails can be plenty.
