The responsibilities of this role will include:
Architecting a mobile cross platform solution Help to build and leading the technology team. Taking part in the development of the mobile services/products. Working closely with the Product Management and development team to ensure consistent delivery of high quality services and products. Innovative approach to new technologies/ideas. The right candidate must have experience in the mobile industry, understand possibilities and limitations in the industry as well as the different platforms.

Programming experience on at least one of the following platforms:
iPhone, Android. (Java, Objective-C or equivalent)

Understanding of web technologies (Javascript/HTML/HTML5/CSS/AJAX) Knowledge of Agile software development and experience with .NET would be beneficial.

Gibson Guitar, the world's premiere musical instrument manufacturer is looking for a dynamic and experienced entertainment marketer as their Regional Director of Entertainment Relations A Asia (based in Hong Kong).

The candidate will be responsible for managing a very energetic and connected group of artist relations and promotions experts throughout Asia. Candidate should be able to work at a very fast pace, manage multiple projects, have intense organizational skills and produce innovative new programs through previous contacts and experiences within the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities include: Overall management of a group of ER professionals and the management of multi-faceted promotional programs produced to effectively increase sales of all brands and raise awareness to the consumers through media and event exposure. This candidate will also be responsible for all reporting as it relates to goal oriented deals and programs and weekly metrics required. Artist Relations, Special Events Production, Media Relations, Retail Marketing Partnerships and Product Placement are all required experiences for this candidate.

Candidate must possess knowledge of all media ratings system, programming, retail environments, sales marketing functions and have background in music and entertainment with an ability to engage the team in new areas of technology. Candidate should also understand endorsement agreements, entertainment contracts and music labels organizational structures. Candidates must be fluent (written and spoken) in English. Multi-lingual candidates with regional languages preferred.

Minimum of 10 years experience in music industry and/or entertainment a must.

Candidate must be a leader who embraces new ideas, innovation and quality work

Extensive Travel required.

Management of large work force and ability to understand trends and research a plus.

Knowledge of technology based entertainment, media promotions, corporate strategic alliances and consumer marketing a plus.

Impinj is seeking experienced engineers to spearhead adoption of UHF Gen2 RFID technologies in a rapidly expanding array of business applications. Impinj Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) will work closely with customers and with Impinj colleagues to understand and solve challenging RFID problems. The technologies involved include RF telecommunications, networking, and embedded and enterprise software technologies. Field Application Engineers must have engineering depth and breadth, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, value customer interaction, and enjoy travel. The focus on this position will be the Indy reader chip.

Serve as the primary, field-deployed, technical liaison between Impinj and assigned customers and channel partners.

Provide design guidance for customers integrating the Indy reader chip into customer products.

Support pre-sales efforts to align the technical benefits of Impinj products to customer requirements.

Provide customer training and ongoing engineering support.

Consult on deployment and performance optimization of Indy-based RFID systems.

Support innovative demonstrations and related application software.

Develop technical proposals for customer development and support projects as appropriate.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the technical staff and other key contacts at Impinj customers and channel partners.

Manage technical customer engagements.

Represent customer's interests to Impinj's sales, marketing, design, and manufacturing teams.

Develop expertise on Impinj and competitive products.

Maintain a knowledgebase of best practices and frequently asked questions.

The person selected for this role will:

Report to the Field Applications Engineering Manager based in Seattle, WA.

Cooperate with the day-to-day activities and regional strategy as directed by the APAC Sales team.

Be a key contributor to the Asia Sales team.

Live in the APAC region and support customers throughout Asia, including, but not limited to Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Visit Impinj operations in Seattle, WA on a periodic basis.

Participate in trade shows along with marketing and sales teams.

Be a key contributor to Impinj success in the APAC region.

Skills/Requirements

BSEE or related and 5+ years experience in a field applications engineering, product applications engineering, computer network engineering or RF telecommunications engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working with customers.

Broad understanding of hardware, software, and networking technologies.

Proficiency in C, C++, or .Net programming languages in Windows or Linux environments.

Knowledge of RF/wireless communication principles and technologies.

Excellent problem solving skills with ability to test and debug field problems.

Written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.
